 | | | | | The Induction type blower is so designed that no fumes or vapors pass through the fan, motor or bearings.
This type of fan is recommended for use in perchloric acid and radioactive fume hoods.
Since no fumes pass through the fan blades, the hazardous work of cleaning perchloric fume deposits or decontaminating radioactive material is reduced to a minimum.
The induction type blower is also recommended for venting highly corrosive fumes, high temperatures and moisture.
Since this is a suction blower it is recommended that the blower be mounted close to the end of the duct exhausting to the atmosphere. The blower tube is made Type 304 or 316 Stainless Steel.
